Tolani (Tolly) Shoneye is a writer, podcaster and presenter. With over a decade of experience Tolani's voice, personality, creativity charisma has allowed her to create a lane for herself. She is the author of The Sunday Times Best Seller Keep The Receipts.

She has created Story Story, a platform dedicated to storytelling, stories about love, relationships and everything in between. She is currently developing an original scripted show with Bandstand Productions and worked with the Young Vic as a writer for their Twenty Twenty project. She has had work commissioned for the sellout run of My White Best Friend at the Bunker Theatre, a monologue which has been published in the book, My White Best Friend (And Other Stories Left Unsaid). Tolani’s writing career also includes her work as a beauty writer, she was the beauty editor at BuzzFeed UK, where she encouraged people to embrace themselves and enjoy the world of beauty and fashion. She is invested in what the beauty world looks like for black people, and her credits include Elle, The Independent, Ok Online and Refinery 29.

As a podcaster and podcast producer, Tolani is the producer and co-host of the award-winning #TheReceiptsPodcast. The podcast is a fun, honest podcast fronted by three women who are willing to talk about anything and everything. Along with the other hosts, Tolly has become a trusted voice in modern conversations. Conversations around dating, love, race, culture and being empowered in your own skin. She is also the host of Netflix's 10/10 Would Recommend, a podcast that sees her and her cohost talking and rating Netflix titles.

She has also worked as a producer for The Art of Hip Hop, a podcast commissioned by The Tate. She also produced Bumble's Love Is podcast alongside TTYA Talks, a podcast that focuses on navigating through a creative career, by talking to women who are in it.
